GMTA Summer Team Tennis has been a part of junior tennis since the 1970’s and caters to players in the Madison area. This program has been an integral stepping stone for young players in their competitive tennis skill development. GMTA Summer Team Tennis (STT) has given beginning competitive players the initial experience necessary to reach the highest levels in WIAA State competition and beyond.
We have an exciting new announcement for the STT program. GMTA, in partnership with the Wisconsin Tennis Association, is branding its STT program as USTA Junior Team Tennis. Players will be registered on the TennisLink scoring system. USTA memberships are NOT required, but each player must create a FREE account. Go to: www.usta.com; Click on TennisLink; Click on "Create Your Account. Teams from this league are eligible for the USTA/Wisconsin District Championships at Nielsen Tennis Stadium, July 20 & 21.
