GMTA Round Robin

Date:  Begin playing matches the week of August, 29.  The round robin will run for 4-10 weeks depending on the number of people in your particular rating.  Each participant plays one match per week.

Location:  You arrange the match with your opponent at a mutual time and place.  A list of all opponents and dates will be emailed (or mailed) to you prior to the first week of matches.

 Match format:  10 game pro sets with a 12-point tie-break at 10-10.  Regular ad scoring.  Players keep track of their record of games won and lost for each match.  The overall winners are decided by the percentage of matches won.  Prizes will be awarded for the winners!

Eligibility:  Non-league setting for NTRP ratings 3.0, 3.5, 4.0 and 4.5.  If you don’t have a NTRP rating, use your best estimate

Entry fees:  $8.00 for GMTA members and $12.00 for non-members.  Include your email address on entry form; otherwise include a self-addressed stamped envelope.  Make checks payable to the GMTA. 

Deadline:  All entry forms and checks must be received to the coordinator, Greg Gracyalny, by Thursday, August 26, 2010.
